Will INSPECT EDGE Accurately Score My NSPIRE Inspection?
Inspect Edge accurately calculates inspection scores using NSPIRE’s scoring model, and your score is automatically determined upon completion. NSPIRE’s auto-fail feature applies only when a property would otherwise pass with a loss of 30-39.9 points in the unit. Exempt from scoring are certain items outlined in the NSPIRE protocol, (e.g., smoke detectors, CO alarms) Additionally, deficiencies not explicitly noted in the UPCS inspection protocol, (e.g., guardrails and fire doors), won’t impact scores until October 2024. While these deficiencies are included in your report, they won’t affect your official score. Repeated deficiencies in a specific area are counted only once, such as multiple exposed electrical connections (missing cover plates) in a unit, which will be counted only once in your score.

Syncing and Pushing Data to the Server
Experience seamless inspection data synchronization with our cutting-edge ‘smart sync’ feature, which pushes and fetches data from our secure server whenever internet connectivity is available. With robust mobile data connections, data transfer between the server and your device takes mere seconds – typically under 30 seconds. Please note, however, that syncing times may be delayed in areas with limited mobile data coverage or unreliable Wi-Fi connections.
Our system’s robust two-way sync mechanism ensures the highest level of security during data transfer between multiple inspectors. When Inspector A initiates syncing from the server, the server transmits the data uploaded by Inspector B to Inspector A’s tablet, ensuring a comprehensive and reliable transfer of inspection data.
How to push inspection data to the server?
Inspect-Edge offers offline inspection software that stores data on your tablet until you’re ready to sync. When you’re ready, tap the cloud icon and follow the prompts to push your data to our secure server. The sync process is easy and ensures your data is safely stored.
How to sync inspection data?
Syncing data ensures your tablet is always up-to-date, pulling in the latest information from the server, including building and unit updates, as well as data from team members working on the same inspection. To start a new inspection, simply press the sync button to sync your tablet with the server, guaranteeing you have the most current data to begin your inspection.

What Happens After Payment is Received?
Upon receipt of your payment via credit card or check, your account will promptly be activated, and you will promptly receive an email containing your login credentials. To facilitate your familiarity with the software, we will offer either a recorded training video or a live Zoom training session for you and your users. Additionally, according to your specific plan and access level, you will be granted the authority to input building and unit information into our system, or alternatively, our technicians can perform this task for you for an extra fee.
