Welcome to Inspect Edge. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Inspect Edge website, software platform, mobile applications, Owner & Tenant Portal, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

Inspect Edge is an enterprise inspection management platform designed to support housing authorities, government agencies, inspection firms, property management organizations, and other authorized users with inspection scheduling, field inspections, reporting, quality assurance, owner and tenant communication, and related operational workflows.

You must be authorized by your organization and at least 18 years of age to access or use the Platform.

By using Inspect Edge, you represent that you have the authority to use the Platform on behalf of your organization, if applicable.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

Users agree to:

• Maintain accurate account information
• Protect login credentials
• Notify their administrator of unauthorized account activity
• Use strong passwords
• Comply with organizational security policies

Inspect Edge reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Users agree to use the Platform only for lawful business purposes.

Users may not:

• Access accounts without authorization
• Attempt to bypass security controls
• Interfere with Platform operation
• Upload malicious software or harmful code
• Reverse engineer or attempt to compromise the Platform
• Misrepresent inspection results
• Use the Platform in violation of applicable laws or regulations

Customers are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all inspection data entered into the Platform.

Inspect Edge does not independently verify inspection findings or determine regulatory compliance. Organizations remain responsible for inspection decisions, reports, and compliance with applicable program requirements.

Customers are responsible for:

• Managing user accounts
• Assigning user permissions
• Maintaining organizational policies
• Reviewing inspection results
• Protecting account credentials
• Maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations

The Owner & Tenant Portal is provided to facilitate communication between authorized organizations, property owners, and tenants.

Organizations are responsible for determining what information is made available through the portal and for managing user access.

The Inspect Edge Platform, including its software, design, graphics, logos, workflows, documentation, and related materials, is the property of Inspect Edge, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No ownership rights are transferred through use of the Platform.

Subject to these Terms and any applicable subscription agreement, Inspect Edge grants customers a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform for internal business purposes.

Customers may not:

• Copy the Platform except as permitted by law
• Modify or create derivative works
• Resell or sublicense the Platform
• Reverse engineer or decompile the software
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

Inspect Edge employs reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect customer information.

Customers acknowledge that no software platform or internet transmission can guarantee absolute security.

Customers are responsible for protecting their own devices, networks, and user credentials.

The Platform may integrate with third-party services including property management systems, cloud providers, mapping services, authentication providers, and other business applications.

Inspect Edge is not responsible for the availability, functionality, or policies of third-party services.

Inspect Edge strives to provide reliable platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Scheduled maintenance, upgrades, internet outages, or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily affect availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inspect Edge, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the Platform.

Inspect Edge’s total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by the customer for the applicable services during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The Platform is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

Inspect Edge makes reasonable efforts to provide reliable software but does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every customer workflow or regulatory requirement.

Organizations remain responsible for complying with HUD requirements, agency policies, and applicable laws.

Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inspect Edge, LLC, its officers, employees, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Customer misuse of the Platform
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Customer-provided inspection data or documentation

Inspect Edge may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if these Terms are violated or if continued access presents a security, operational, or legal risk.

Customers may discontinue use of the Platform according to the terms of their applicable subscription or service agreement.

Inspect Edge continually improves its products and services.

We reserve the right to modify, update, enhance, or discontinue features, functionality, or services without prior notice.

Inspect Edge may update these Terms from time to time.

Revised Terms become effective when posted on this website. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
